Packing for a Local Move
Packing for a Local Move
It isn’t uncommon to postpone packing for a local well. The sooner you get started the easier the move will be. So, where do you start? Well, any place is a good enough one to start with as long as you begin packing much before moving day.
Ideally you should begin with packing those things you don’t use frequently.
- Pack one room at a time.
- You can keep your clothes hanging in your cupboard and in dresser drawers when you move.
- By leaving the electronics and heavy furniture for {Company A} movers to pack you are assured that your valuables will be relocated safely.
- Empty kitchen shelves and cupboards and throw away perishables. Canned food should be packed in small but strong cartons and marked appropriately.
- Do not pack money, important documents, jewellery and watches, instead carry them with yourself.
- This is a good time to clear your home of junk.
