Packing Linen

 

Do you pack all your linen together or separately for each room? This is a question that every person who moves, ponders over. Choose a middle path. Pack a set of line for every room, along with all the things that are to be kept in that room. This will ensure that when you are unpacking your bedroom you have a set of bed sheets, comforter and perhaps a blanket ready to make up your bed.

The rest of the linen you can pack together and mark the carton or box accordingly. The linen box is often heavy so don’t try to move it yourself.

Wash all your dirty linen and dry them well before you are ready to pack them. Place sets of sheets, pillow covers and matching comforters together. The same goes for cushion covers and table settings. This will make it easier for you to settle down in your new house. Pack the carton or box neatly, so when you are ready to unpack you can simply remove your linen from the box and place it in the cupboard.
