Packing Upholstery
Packing upholstery is a bit tricky as you will be using them till the day before you move. The best way to go about it is to remove the upholstery you are using right now, clean it and put it away. Thus the set that you use will be relatively clean when you reach your new home. Use this set first. Never put away unclean upholstery even if it has been used for a few days and seems clean. Fungus grows especially quickly in warm, humid climate.
Always pack in sets; this is useful when you are unpacking in your new home. Begin preparations to pack your upholstery at least 3 weeks before moving day. This will give you adequate time to locate a missing item or make repairs. Upholstery that comes with your furniture and cannot be removed should be cleaned before the move. You may also decide to place sheets over them to avoid them from getting dirty again.
